| water spout, where it falls down to the depression in the half sphere, and then drains back into the basin.
The depression effectively eliminates the spattering of water that would occur if the water stream fell directly into the water in the basin. No water connection is needed for this fountain. Water is simply added by pouring it in the basin from a pitcher. From time to time, due to evaporation, more water has to be added. A nearby, 3-prong 110V receptacle is needed for the pump. Recirculating pump included.
